Conditions under which we perform service & repair with applicable rates.

Overhead: Due to high fuel prices and too often excessive driving times, having spent too many years performing minimal repairs for charges that never covered many of the myriad expenses of running a business much less just covering all the overhead costs, we now offer 1/2 day and full day time slots for service and repairs for new customers. On a normal day working a full scale installation truck fuel may represent 5 to 6% of the daily gross. But using our past rates applied to todays truck fuel prices where we have minimal service calls to widely varying locations all over central Texas, truck fuel alone often represents 25% or more of our daily gross.

This 1/2 day minimum applies not only to new customers, but also to customers who do not purchase a substantial new installation from us, rather only need ongoing service and repairs. Sprinkler controller clock replacement is an example of one service that can be performed on an hourly basis. All parts are additional. If you read into this that we are thrilled to finally "offload" all the heretofore unprofitable repair & service work for which the customer is unwilling to compensate us for what is needed to cover all our overhead costs plus eak out a bare profit - - - you are right as rain, my friend. This policy allows us to concentrate more on servicing and repairing customers with a significant amount of work as well as the high quality new installations we have performed for our valuable customers.

General conditions: We do not subcontract under anyone, especially other companies and we prefer residential work. We only work for the listed property owner(s) and do not work for or through 3rd parties.

We do not invoice or bill. You understand and agree by hiring us that we collect full payment for the work at the job site immediately upon completion of the the job.

We do not drive out to give "no obligation estimates" for repair or service work but instead offer 1/2 day and full day "ready to work" time slots. We always try to set a mutually convenient time to meet and we require the property owner meet us on site where the work would be performed before we start working. Even if the job only requires a short period of time to complete we charge our minimum time slot which is 1/2 day.

Special conditions for the quarter day rate: Only those customers who have already invested in us by having already purchased a "substantial" installation will qualify for as little as a quarter day rate if the repair or service requires a minimum amount of time. Factors such as how busy our work load and if we are already in their area servicing other customers will affect this.

We do not charge for warrantee work.

Like many other companies we reserve the right to change, add, or modify any of the terms, conditions, or policies without prior notice.

Rates for service and repair:

Our minimum 1/2 day rate is $275.00 and the full day rate is discounted slightly to $495.00. If you qualify for the quarter day rate it is $155.00. Are parts are extra and additional. You understand and agree by hiring us that we collect full payment for the work at the job site immediately upon completion of the the job. We do not invoice or bill. Parts are additional.
