Please read carefully: These are the only two types of services we offer:

If you are interested in having highly trained, experienced professionals install a "turn key" lake water pumping system where we furnish ALL the parts and labor  - - or you need service or repair of your existing lake water pumping system whereby our company furnishes ALL the parts and labor, you have come to the right place. The vast majority of our customers are fine, decent people who recognize and understand the value of trained and highly experienced professionals  - - - and that you get what you pay for.  However, as of late we have been encountering a minority of property owners who are deceiving themselves thinking they are cutting corners and "beating the system".  In order to filter out this minority we are clarifying and only offering 2 types of service:

In all cases we meet with the customer on the job site before work is started. Written authorization is required and we do not use email, fax, etc. for this purpose. We prefer the "tried and true" face to face handshake method.

1) All new "turn key" pump systems:     In which we furnish ALL the parts and labor. We will not be furnishing horsepower data or flow rate data regarding the pump on quotes or at any time before a written contract is completed and the 50% advance is tendered. We do not volunteer our proprietary details on how we install our systems when we visit a jobsite to gather information for a quote. We will guarantee that the pump will be more than adequate to fulfill the requirements - - - and we have 6 pages of typewritten references to prove our pump systems perform well.     We will not install any customer purchased pumps or other parts.

2) Service and repair of existing pump systems:     Where we only come to the job  site ready to work, with paperwork/clipboard in hand, where we furnish all the parts and labor.  This customer will be notified in the initial phone call this is the only way we work  - -  we do not expend expensive windshield driving time and on site time merely to give a quote for repair / service.  We can provide some of our rates over the phone such as initial scuba dive, price to raise pump off lake floor back to dry land if required, etc. , but there are other items often undetermineable until our "top side" diagnosis and our scuba dive on site is complete. We will get customer's written authorization on our paperwork at all times before we begin work (We have always done this anyway).  Again, we will not install any customer purchased pumps or other parts.  If we determine a new pump is needed then will will make parts determinations and the customer will advance us 50% of what we calculate should be the bulk of the total price for all labor and parts (note that there still can be things discovered afterwards in the tear down and assembly that need to be replaced - - - or obstacles encountered that could not be forseen - - - that can add to the total). If we perform the service, even if we start the service  - -  the customer is obligated by the written terms of our agreement to purchase any and all pumps through us - - - if in fact a pump is needed.

Occasionally, based on a limited supply, we will offer a used pump replacement for less with accordingly less warrantee - - - as well as always offer a new pump.

We are expecting this clarification should cut down on some of our wasted driving (typically 3 to 4 hours roundtrip when we were in the "quote and give all details" business) and push these minority of undesireables over to our competition. It is our desire to concentrate & focus our valuable time and experience on those fine, decent folks who understand and appreciate our full service approach providing ALL parts and labor.

Note: Submersible pumps MUST be installed with attention to certain specific details (trade secrets) or one could damage them.  We've been seeing a lot of early failures with Grundfos pumps especially and therefore we do not install this brand.
